October Job of the Month – Estate Brochures

Job of the month time again and the one that stood out was Demesne Country Estate brochures.

There were two oversize brochures developed for these new homes and we are sure that they will make an impact.

We recently visited a large PLC printing firm on the mainland, they had some exceptionally large machines, these plates were taller than our sales rep Gary at around 1.8m!

Xerox Color 1000 Press – New Digital Printing Machine

At the beginning of this month Minprint installed a new digital printing press.

We are now the proud owners of a Xerox CP1000.

Configuration as seen in the attached pic – isn’t she lovely? 🙂
This deal was put together in June when the team visited Germany. With the install and training now complete we are now ready for action with your jobs!

Add a touch of class to your next print run, our machine can offer a gloss varnish effect similar to a gloss UV but at the fraction of the cost, samples available on request.

Minprint visit Drupa 2012

Gary and Jamie headed off to Germany at the end of last week to catch up on the latest news and technology in print from around the world.
Here are a few pics to give you a taste of it all.

We hope to make investments in all three areas of our business over the next 12 months.
In Litho we have our eyes on the Heidelberg XL75 with in press colour controls, reduced setup, faster speeds across all stock weights.
In digital we have a deal waiting in the wings for a new Xerox Colour Press 1000 with the optional 5th ink unit for wonderful clear varnish effects, again this press has in press colour management hardware to make sure our 1st sheet of your job matches the last.
In wide format we have great interest in the latest Latex ink technology from Mimaki and are also looking into lamination machines from Seal.
